Dr. Lin Chiunjung is a Senior Counsel at Dacheng Taiwan and a research fellow at the China Enterprise Mergers and Acquisitions Research Center. He has previously worked at foreign investment banks and Big Four accounting firms such as Ernst & Young and KPMG, where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, investment and financing, asset valuation (including enterprise value, machinery and equipment, intangible assets, etc.), as well as corporate restructuring and organizational transformation. He has assisted Greater China enterprises with cross-border activities and supported foreign enterprises entering Asia, serving companies at various stages including startups, growth, and pre-IPO.
In addition, Dr. Lin has participated in research on overseas mergers and acquisitions of central state-owned enterprises and credit legislation. He therefore possesses extensive experience in cross-border M&A and restructuring involving Chinese enterprises, as well as the topic of “Integrity China.” Dr. Lin also serves as an editorial board member for publications such as the China Enterprise Mergers and Acquisitions Yearbook and the Central State-Owned Enterprises Mergers and Restructuring Report, giving him a solid foundation in both academic theory and practical experience in corporate operations, finance, and legal matters.
Dr. Lin specializes in handling interdisciplinary issues, assisting clients in solving complex problems from financial, legal, and technical perspectives. In the corporate sphere, this expertise translates to a strategic business perspective; on the personal level, it involves family wealth management and asset allocation. These topics span across multiple disciplines, including finance and law.
